Woman dragged by car after being carjacked

RIO VISTA, Calif. (KTXL) — On Friday night time the Rio Vista Police Division was alerted of a stolen silver Toyota RAV4 entering the city, according to a Fb write-up.

Law enforcement explained that the motor vehicle was stolen during a carjacking in San Rafael, and the woman who owned the motor vehicle was dragged powering it.

Officers positioned the vehicle in close proximity to Esperson and Drouin. The driver of the stolen auto then rammed into an officer’s car or truck and fled westbound on Freeway 12 out of city.

The driver went off the road many occasions, popping a single of the Toyota’s tires. The driver continued driving on the flat tire until it was just the rim of the rear wheel. Finally, the auto bought trapped in a subject on the north facet of the SR-12 west of 113.

The driver was a 32-year-aged woman from Tracy on probation for vehicle theft. She surrendered at the time her motor vehicle turned stuck. The female then exited without the need of her pants so officers called the Montezuma Hearth Safety District and Medic Ambulance Service to examine on the suspect.

The suspect was taken to a neighborhood clinic for even more treatment prior to currently being booked in the Fairfield County Jail.
